One of our designers, Natasha Vermeulen, whipped up this poster in support of the anti-mining protests.

Richard resorts to the Stormtrooper outfit to get some studio-tidying action underway.

Our Senior Designer Sam Trustrum held a 'pop-up' exhibition of photography over the weekend. The images were from his recent travels through the US, Egypt, India and South East Asia.
Although now 'popped down', the prints can be viewed and ordered at trustrum.co.nz

What started with Sam's email link to a 'Valentines Day card for designers' soon sparked
a stream of 'typeface-banter' emails around the studio:
Sam: "Baby, you're my Univers. Meeting you was no Akzidenz. I can see that we've got a great Futura. We were Meta be together."
Grant: "Lets spend the rest of the Century together."
Sam: "I'm Aachen for you, baby."
Kate: "the Times I spend with you are the best times ever."
Richard: "I'll always love you, Bodoni if you love me back."
Grant: "I would if you could control your weight..."
Richard: "I couldn't Kern less about my weight."
Ed: "That's bold."
Natasha: "These messages are getting a little Heavy."
Sue: "To HELvetica with Valentines day..."
Back in November, de Bono's 'Six Thinking Hats' provided a stimulating subject for
a 'Lunch n' learn' session for Studio Alexander staff.

What we get up to in the weekends...

Spotted in the Studio Alexander carpark.

Zoe can't help but play with type.

Ed whittled and wove a boat for Harry while on holiday in Puponga, Farewell Spit. Complete with woven fishing line, it floated beautifully.

Thanks to the Stanley Bay Bowling Club for providing such a great venue and coaching.

We welcome our new team members: Natasha, Matt and Sam
